Honda to go the Yamaha way!

At the launch of The CBF Stunner, Honda Motors announced that it will introduce an 800cc bike by the end of this financial year.

Honda president and chief executive S. Aoyama said.:
“When we introduced motorcycles in India, we started with smaller engine sizes to cater to the masses. We have been exploring launching bigger motorcycles and this year an 800cc bike will be launched for the Indian market,The 800cc bike will be imported from the parent company,”

Manufacturers like Yamaha (R1 and MT01) and Ducati have already introduce their superbikes in India!

Speculations are that the bike(s) would be from VFR or Fireblade series... some people are already confirming this to be from the Interceptor (VFR) series! but heck who knows!
Since this is a CBU it will cost about the same range as an official R1 here (read 10 Lakhs)
